Seven Moldovan judges detained for corruption

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/- Seven magistrates from Moldova were detained upon raids conducted by anti-corruption prosecutors and National Anti-Corruption Centre (CNA) today.
According to CNA spokeswoman Angela Starinschi, the raids are carried out in more courts and at homes of people suspected of corruption acts.
“So far, seven judges have been detained on cases related to corruption deeds. Operations are underway. We will come up with more details later. At the same time, additional information will be provided when actions are over,” Starinschi said.
