Poland willing to share experience with Moldova on European integration

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- Poland is willing to share its own experience with Moldova in implementing reforms and meeting goals on European integration. President of Poland Andrzej Duda made the statement at a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Pavel Filip, held in New York, in the context of participation in the 71st session of UN General Assembly, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The two officials reviewed the current issues on the bilateral agenda. A special attention was paid to further promote the political dialogue. Also, they agreed to boost the economic cooperation and to carry out concrete projects in areas of common interest.
In this context, Filip thanked Poland for further maintaining Moldova in the top list of states benefitting from assistance for development, including for credit provided amounting to 100 million euros for agricultural development. He voiced confidence that it would be fully used by the Moldovan farmers.
For his part, Andrzej Duda reconfirmed his country’s openness to back Moldova’s European integration, as well as implementation of reforms in the country. Also, he reiterated Poland’s willingness to share its own experience in transition period. In another context, Duda invited Moldova to join the project on regional development within EU, launched by Poland, related to strengthening infrastructure, energy sector and railways. The project is meant to diversify sources of gas ensuring in the region.
