Moldovan Organization for Small, Medium Enterprises has deadline for grants files

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ – The Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) of Moldova announced today the ones who are interested to access grants in 2016 in the Program for Attracting Remittances in Economics "PARE 1+1" can submit dossiers until 31 October 2016. This is the ODIMM’s deadline for files to be examined and beneficiaries to raise money within 2016.

According to ODIMM, in 2016 it signed over 60 grant contracts totaling nearly 13.3 million lei. At the same time, additional 60 cases are still pending.

The program "PARE 1+1" goaled to attract remittances into the economy was initiated in 2010 to encourage the Moldovan citizens working abroad to invest the money earned in business in Moldova. So far, with the support of the European Union, there were funded over 780 companies, the total amount of grants awarded reaches to about 133 million lei. Thus, investments in economy were over 386.5 million lei, that every leu granted generated almost 2.9 lei investments in Moldova's economy.

The interested persons to qualify for financial resources within the "PARE 1+1" must be citizens of Moldova, workers-migrants or their relatives of the first degree and to confirm the origin of the money derived from their work abroad.
