Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ – The employees serving biomass heating systems in Moldova will benefit from ongoing and qualified training at unique center that will be created through support and initiative "Energy and Biomass" project. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
At present, more than 200 schools, kindergartens, community centers in Moldova and more than a thousand households and dozens of firms installed biomass boilers, requiring a qualified service.

This training is important both for current continuity and for the new thermal power plants employees," informed the cited source.
The "Energy and Biomass" invites public or private institutions to join the national competition partner selection, which will create the first Training Centre Operators in thermal power plants using solid fuel and combined heat plants. The project will provide European funds a maximum grant of $25 thousand for the selected institution, the latter following to come up with a contribution of at least 30% of the awarded grant.
The deadline for submitting application for participation in the contest is 14 October 2016.
The "Energy and Biomass" runs from 2015-2017 and has a total budget of 9.41 million euros.
