Moldovan deputy foreign minister meets Russian envoy

Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii today met Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Moldova Farit Mukhametshin, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media relations service has reported.

During the meeting, the interlocutors focused on current stage and prospects of the bilateral agenda. They underlined the importance of maintaining the positive dynamics in the political dialogue with the aim to overcome the current difficulties in the economic and trade relations.

In this context, the officials reiterated the mutual interest in convening the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation until the end of this year.
