Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/- The leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Igor Dodon, today presented a part of his electoral programme. It is focused on “stability, neutrality and identity of Moldova”.
Dodon said that if he wins the presidential elections, he will take more measures to preserve identity and statehood of Moldova. “I will make every effort to prohibit by law unionism in Moldova. An important factor is carrying out concrete actions to amend the Education Code, so as in schools be studied Moldovan history and not Romanian one,” he said.
Dodon also noted he was going to change the composition of the Superior Security Council. “It has to be made up of patriots and statalists. We will approve a new strategy on national security, in which unionism will represent a threat to the country’s security. Moldova is neutral state, we need a new law on neutrality, as NATO troops or of other states should not be in the country. At the same time, people holding citizenship of other countries should not have leading positions,” he said.
