Moldovan foreign minister meets Serbian counterpart

Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Andrei Galbur had a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The discussions between the two ministers focused on bilateral cooperation priority areas, expanding the legal framework and developments in the dialogue with the European institutions of Moldova and Serbia. In the same context, it was considered the spirit of mutual support between both Moldova and Serbia in regional initiatives and international organizations. The sides agreed to conduct bilateral consultations on European integration at the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
The officials also expressed interest in deepening cooperation in the field of trade, investment, cultural, scientific and education. Minister Dacic forwarded his counterpart Andrei Galbur an invitation to undertake a visit to Belgrade, so that to participate in the meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, which presidency is held by the Republic of Serbia.
