Moldovan Right Party leader starts electoral campaign

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ – The leader of the Right Party Ana Gutu launched today her campaign for presidential elections of 30 October this year.
Ana Gutu will occupy the eleventh position on the ballot.
At the official launch, Ana Gutu said that these elections would promote the idea of unification of Moldova with Romania. "The union will ensure freedom of citizens, the right to a decent life, happiness and peace. This is the shortest path to accede to the European value area and become part of EU and NATO," said Gutu.
The Right party leader said that "I will insist to amend the legislation in such a way, that prosecutors and judges from Romania to accede to positions here in Moldova. These experts will help us to overcome corruption. At the same time, I shall ask for an international investigation of the theft of the billion and the amending financial-banking legislation in order to prohibit any shares’ holding in commercial banks by companies registered in offshore firms. At the same time, I shall initiate the administrative-territorial reform and the new legislation in the social field," said Gutu.
Ana Gutu is a philologist, translator, professor of French language and literature by profession. Currently, she holds the position of the prime rector of the Free International University of Moldova, Vice President of the Senate and chairman of the Educational Council of the same institution. She was a Member of the Parliament of legislative period XVII and XVIII.
Direct presidential elections will take place in Moldova on 30 October 2016. CEC has recorded 12 candidates for the Moldovan president post: Marian Lupu – on behalf of the Democratic Party, Mihai Ghimpu – Liberal Party, Iurie Leanca – European People’s Party of Moldova, Andrei Nastase – Dignity and Truth Political Party, Ina Popenco – Ravnopravie (Equality of Rights), Dumitru Ciubasenco – Our Party, Maia Sandu – Action and Solidarity Party and Igor Dodon – Party of Socialists, Silvia Radu – independent candidate, Maia Laguta – independent candidate, Ana Gutu – Right Party and Valeriu Ghileţchi – an independent candidate.
