Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The leader of the Party of Socialists (PCRM), Igor Dodon, today presented the second part of his electoral programme, focused on “development of the economy and social justice.”
At a news conference, the PSRM leader said that a programme made up of more goals had been worked out to develop the economy. “The first goal is cancellation of all the laws from the financial and banking sector, assumed by the government. The second objective is the return of the Moldovan products on the Russian market in the free trade regime; for this, we propose trilateral negotiations between Moldova, European Union and Russia. At the same time, we believe that the relations with EU in terms of economy should be based on asymmetric commerce, and not on free trade. An important factor is protection of the domestic market by motivational tax policy and cutting the number of controls. At the same time, we rely on cheaper energy resources,” Dodon said. EU
Referring to the social justice chapter, the Socialists’ leader noted that the state must ensure the work of the mayoralty, kindergarten, school and medical point in each settlement. “It is necessary to ensure the social payments, increase the maternal capital and back the families. We think that the school-leaving examination must be optional and not obligatory. Thus, Moldova should return to the taking of the admission examination in the higher education establishments,” Dodon said.
The candidate for the Moldovan president office spoke out for the “increase in the number of services guaranteed by the insurance policy, and a part of the payments paid be accumulated on the account of the private person – money which could be subsequently used for other services from the health sector.”
