Customs Service, Moldovan-Italian Chamber of Comerce and Industry sign cooperation agreement

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/- The Customs Service and Moldovan-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIMI) have signed a cooperation agreement on supporting Italian investors by organizing and holding information activities on measures to facilitate international trade.
The event took place within the 4th economic forum of the Italian enterprises in Moldova, with participation of Italian Ambassador to Moldova Enrico Nunziata, representatives of Italian business environment and central public authorities.
The agreement aims at setting up a cooperation framework between the Customs Service and CCIMI in implementing the provisions of the Association Agreement, increasing business knowledge from Moldova in trade sector, as well as ensuring training by the Customs Service meant to observe the national and international customs legal framework.
The service specialists presented the benefits of the latest tools for simplifying customs procedures such as: electronic declaration, simplified declaration, etc.
Over 1,000 enterprises with Italian capital are registered in Moldova.
