Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) on 22 October changed the model of the ballot paper and the order of registration of the candidates for Moldovan president office in the ballot paper. At the meeting, CEC secretary Veaceslav Agrigoroae said that, ‘’after two electoral contenders had been excluded from the ballot paper, the latter will be shortened to 303 millimeters from the earlier 348 mm. At the same time, the ballot paper will contain a number of ten quadrilaterals, against 12 earlier,’’ Agrigoroae said.
Following the amendments, the ballot paper will look as follows: Marian Lupu (Democratic Party of Moldova - PDM) – 1; Mihai Ghimpu (Liberal Party, PL) – 2; Iurie Leanca (European People’s Party of Moldova - PPEM) – 3; Dumitru Ciubasenco – (Our Party – PN) – 4; Maia Sandu (Action and Solidarity Party – PAS) – 5; Igor Dodon (Party of Socialists) – 6; Silvia Radu (independent candidate) – 7; Maia Laguta (independent candidate) – 8; Ana Gutu (Right Party) – 9 and Valeriu Ghiletchi (independent candidate) -10.

The total number of ballot papers presently stands at 3 ,132,427,’’ Agrigoroae said.
