Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - Two Moldovan citizens last night died and another two were injured in a traffic accident which occurred on a road in the Chernihiv region, north Ukraine, the head of the press service at the Foreign and European Integration Ministry, Andrei Toma, today confirmed for MOLDPRES.
“Two women, aged 45 and 41, respectively, were killed on impact. Another two persons, a 19-year-old mother and her one-year-old child, were slightly wounded and were carried to hospital. Presently, the two persons were discharged from hospital and transported to Moldova. Preliminary data shows that that accident would have taken place because of a defect at a wheel of the mini-buss, which broke and the vehicle slid and overturned into a ditch,” Toma noted.
The mini-bus was heading to Russia and all passengers and the driver were citizens of Moldova.
