More companies from Germany describe Moldovan market as one of perspective

Chisinau, 25 October /MOLDPRES/- More enterprises from Germany have an increased interest in initiating and developing investment projects in Moldova, because they describe the Moldovan market as one of perspective. Professional staff and more active involvement including from the state are needed for this.
The deputy head of the German Embassy in Moldova, Florian Seitz, made the statement at a meeting with the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sergiu Harea, on 24 October.
Harea noted that the CCI highly appreciated the support provided by the German government in carrying out many investment projects in different sectors, including through the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), European Energy Manager Programme (EUREM) etc.
“We appreciate EUREM projects, aimed at training specialists in energy efficiency, alternative and renewable energy sources in line with the European standards”, “Structural reform in technical vocational education in Moldova”, carried out by GIZ, as well as “Moldovan-German programme on training managers of enterprises in different sectors of national economy”, Harea said.
“In the context, we are interested in deepening these activities, as we need professional staff able to work under modern technologies and equipments,” Harea said. He added the CCI was willing to develop the Moldovan-German cooperation relations at all levels.
Also, the sides discussed organizing an economic mission of Moldovan business people to Germany in 2017.
