Eight new tourist routes to be launched on both banks of Dniester

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/- Eight tourist routes covering over 30 locations on both banks of the Dniester river will be available for tourists willing to discover Moldova. The new itinerary has been recently tested in a common project carried out by the National Inbound Tourism Association of Moldova (ANTRIM) and the Agency for Regional Development of Transnistria (ADRT).
According to a press release by ANTRIM, the new tourist routes include agripensions, craft workshops, villages with rich history, churches, monasteries, etc.
“The eight routes will provide the opportunity to know our traditions and to live a unique experience by involving in daily activities in the places with tourism potential,” ANTRIM director-executive Natalia Turcanu said.
“Several routes will be promoted at an exhibition of tourism in Warsaw (Poland), due on 24-26 November. It is about places worth being known and discovered,” ADRT director Tatiana Yascova said.
The tourist routes have been elaborated within the platform on strengthening tourist business relations from both banks of the Dniester by developing sustainable partnerships, implemented by ANTRIM and ADRT. The project is carried out within the Support to Confidence Building Measures Programme, funded by EU and implemented by UNDP.
