Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - The owners of farmlands placed beyond the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway will be able to receive compensations for 2016, under a decision passed at a today’s cabinet meeting.
The lists of beneficiaries have been earlier compiled, based on a special regulation approved in cooperation with the Agriculture Ministry and State Chancellery. The farmers will receive about 1,230 lei for each hectare.
The money will be earmarked from the government’s reserve fund and will reach the Dubasari district council, which will make direct payments for 2016 to the owners of farmlands of the villages of Cocieri, Cosnita, Dorotcaia, Molovata Noua and Pirita.
The area of the lands placed beyond the Ribnita-Tiraspol highway is 6,495 hectares, and the overall sum for transfer will stand at almost eight million lei. The farmers have not been able to till their lands since 2003, when the Tiraspol administration blocked farmers’ access to the lands they own.
