Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - The common candidate for the Moldovan president office of the Dignity and Truth Party and Action and Solidarity Party Maia Sandu, has disapproved of the actions and statements made by the candidate of the Democratic Party (PDM), Marian Lupu, today on his withdrawal from the presidential race in favour of the common right-wing candidate.
Sandu made statements today evening at a news briefing, during which she said that ”the governance set by PDM has no European course.”
“If PDM wanted European governance, it would not have formed a parliamentary majority by blackmail and buying MPs, it would not have voted government members detested by citizens. If it was pro-European, it would have carried through the reform of the Prosecutor General’s Office and have not ceased the investigation against Ilan Shor. Vlad Plahotniuc plays dirty; yet, I am not going to make him game. I act according to the law,” Sandu said.
At the same time, the PAS leader said that “by backing the common candidate of the right-wing forces, PDM wants to mislead the voters of Moldova and to prove that it would like to continue the European integration.”
