Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- The Labour, Social Protection and Family Ministry today launched “the electronic application on allowances for families with children” service, which gives opportunity for the families with children to request allowances online.
The amendment is meant to shorten the time of applying for allowance, providing aids, as well as to save the time and additional expenses of beneficiaries.
The head of the National Social Insurances House (CNAS), Laura Grecu, said that the service was meant for the families benefitting from one-off childbirth allowance, monthly allowance for up to one year and six months child (for uninsured persons) and monthly allowance for up to 3 years child (for insured people).
“To submit the application online, the beneficiaries have to access this service electronically, available on the single governmental portal of public services (www.servicii.gov.md) or on the webpage of the National Social Insurances House (www.cnas.md).
The monthly allowance for up to 3 years child, for insured people, is earmarked only after the employer grants leave for child care. Also, if the applicant works at more units, each of them will offer leave for child care, and the data will be set in the state register of records. The applications will be processed during 30 days,” Grecu said.
For her part, Labour, Social Protection and Family Minister Stela Grigoras said that new service was aimed at facilitating both conditions for aid request and work of employees in the social sector.
“Today we launched a new online service on requesting allowances for families with children, meant to improve and facilitate significantly the working methods with people benefitting from such allowances. We are set to extend the range of services in order to be made online. I am referring to other allowances that would bring an added value in the citizens’ life,” Grigoras said.
The above-mentioned service was launched after the cabinet approved at the yesterday’s meeting a draft on amending and completing the Regulations on the way the allowances meant for families with children are set and paid.
