Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/ - The common candidate of the Dignity and Truth Party, Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president office, Maia Sandu, today urged all Moldovan citizens to go to vote on 30 October, no matter the status, political vision, religion, etc. Sandu has made statements to this effect at a news conference.
„Moldova needs unity now. We will elect the country’s president in three days. We can elect a president, who wants power to consolidate his/her control and wealth or we can elect a president who would contribute to improving the living of Moldova’s citizens. No matter the political opinions you have, the language you speak, the fact whether you look to the West or East, whether you admire Romania or Russia, I will give all my strength, so that each of you feels safe at home. Because each citizen matters,” Sandu said.
The PAS leader noted that “the corrupt politicians, during time, have been trying to divide by using important things for us, such language, history, culture and religion, to keep us divided. It was easier for them to steal us, knowing us divided. The true rescuers of the country are you. I urge you to go to vote and do not vote against somebody, but for you,” the common candidate of the right-wing forces, Maia Sandu, added.
Direct presidential elections will take place in Moldova on 30 October.
