Moldovan deputy PM meets speaker of Latvia

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, who is on an official visit to Riga, had today a meeting with the Speaker of Parliament (Saeima) of the Republic of Latvia Ināra Mūrniece, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The officials marked the efficient cooperation and active dialogue as at bilateral level, so within international forums, interaction on the parliamentary sphere, that was noted like an example of success.

A special covered theme represented the Moldova's European agenda, Speaker Ināra Mūrniece expressing Latvia's full support for European course of Moldova. At his part, minister Galbur thanked for the assistance and messages of encouragement received from the Latvian authorities.

Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur is in Latvia in order to attend the Riga conference event where meet senior officials in foreign policy and defence, academics, journalists and representatives of the business environment. It is a tradition that every year, commencing 2006, for the Latvian capital to host this forum for discussion and evaluation that proposes patterns for discussion and evaluation that have an impact upon the transatlantic community.
