Moldova diplomacy head meets with Lithuanian counterpart

Chisinau, 29 October /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) Andrei Galbur met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius, within their participation at the Annual Conference in Riga.

According to the information and communication media service of MAEIE, during the discussions, the officials exchanged views on political and social developments in Moldova and Lithuania, in the light of the upcoming elections in Moldova and, respectively, the parliamentary ones which has been recently held in Lithuania.

A special topic, addressed by speakers, focused the process of European integration, including cooperation within the Eastern Partnership. In this context, the head of Lithuanian diplomacy wished to reiterate his country's willingness to further support Moldova in implementing the European agenda reforms.

At his part, Minister Andrei Galbur thanked for the support received and keeping Moldova in the list of countries receiving the development assistance from the Government of Lithuania.
