Moldovan PM votes "for Moldova's modernisation"

Chisinau, 30 Ooctober /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today voted for the election of president. The premier came to the polling station accompanied by his wife, noting he voted for modernizing Moldova.
“Direct presidential elections were not held for 20 years in Moldova, therefore, it would be good that all citizens to participate in it, so contributing to developing Moldova’s democracy and taking responsibility for everything happening in the country. I voted thinking that future president will understand very well the context faced by the country and will contribute to modernizing Moldova, which will determine welfare of citizens,” Filip said.
“I am sure these elections will be correct, all necessary measures have been taken. We have over 3,000 international observers. Therefore, the process will be transparent and fair,” Filip said.
Direct presidential elections take place in Moldova today. Over 67,000 voters, 2.7 percent, were present at the ballot boxes till 08:00.
