Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip accompanied by his wife today voted at the polling station no 94 of Buiucani district, Chisinau, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
Filip urged citizens to actively participate in vote, the more so as the direct election of president is right regained for Moldova 20 years later.
The premier said he voted thinking that future president will understand very well the context faced by Moldova and will contribute to developing the country. "When all powers in the state are focused on modernising the country, when all powers follow the same path, the things can happen evry quickly in Moldova, and people can live in welfare. It is very important, as we were committed, to build a country based on European values," he said.
