Moldovan speaker votes for "country's European future"

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/- Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu today voted for election of president. He said he voted for "Moldova's European future".
"I want to thank citizens who voted and to encourage all citizens to participate in the presidential elections. I personally voted for all reforms be implemented, and the president of the country by his activity should be part of this process. In this context, we will surely manage to do many important things for the country," he said.
Direct presidential elections take place in Moldova today. Almost 298,000 voters (10.53 per cent) were present at the ballot boxes till 10:00.
About 2.8 million citizens are expected to ballot boxes.
