Common right wing candidate for president expresses vote „for dignified life in Moldova”

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ – The candidate for the president of the Republic of Moldova from Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Platform Dignity and Truth Party (PPDA) and Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) Maia Sandu has exercised today the right to vote for the President of Moldova. PAS leader said that she voted “for a dignified life in Moldova”.

“These elections are very significant for the future of the Republic of Moldova. I gave my vote to that fact that to the country’s leadership to come some honest and fair people who wish us to live a dignified life here in the Republic of Moldova. We need a President who will come to unite all of us and will be able to make our country a prosperous one, while its citizens to enjoy the welfare. I urge the voters to come to voting and all of us together to make order in the country,” specified Sandu.

There are direct presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova. There are expected 2,8 million citizens with the right to vote to the ballot boxes.

Citizens of the country have to offer their votes to one of nine remaining in the election race candidates: Mihai Ghimpu – PL (Liberal Party), Iurie Leanca – PPEM (People’s European Party of Moldova), Dumitru Ciubasenco – PN (Our Party), Maia Sandu – PAS (Party of Action and Solidarity), PPDA (Platform Party Dignity and Truth), PLDM (Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova), Igor Dodon – PSRM (Socialist Party of Moldova), Silvia Radu – independent candidate Maia Laguta – independent candidate, Ana Gutu – Partidul Dreapta (Party of Equity of Rights) and Valeriu Ghiletchi – independent candidate.

The first preliminary data on the election results will be announced at about 22.00.
