Moldovan electoral body processes 30.66 per cent of reports

Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has informed about the processing of 30.66 per cent of the reports.
According to CEC data, the candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) picked up 55.01 per cent of the votes, Maia Sandu (Action and Solidarity Party, Dignity and Truth Platform Party, Liberal Democratic Party) – 30.69 per cent, Dumitru Ciubasenco (Our Party) – 5.63 per cent, Mihai Ghimpu (Liberal Party) – 2.44 per cent, Iurie Leanca (European People’s Party of Moldova) – 3.68 per cent, Silvia Radu (independent candidate) – 0.39 per cent, Maia Laguta (independent candidate) – 0.85 per cent, Ana Gutu (Right Party) – 0.18 per cent and Valeriu Ghiletchi (independent candidate) – 1.13 per cent.
At the same time, the Commission said that the voter turnout at the presidential polls, which ended at 21:00, had been of 48.97 per cent of all the electors recorded in the lists.
CEC head said that 1.433 million electors had voted at the today’s ballot.
