Moldovan deputy prime minister receives Ambassador of United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland to Moldova

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Moldova Lucy Joyce, on the courtesy visit.
According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service, during the meeting the Minister congratulated Lucy Joyce on the occasion of accreditation as British Ambassador to Moldova and expressed conviction that that would help strengthen the Moldovan – British relations of cooperation.
At the same time, there were addressed some topical issues on the agenda of bilateral dialogue between the Republic of Moldova and Great Britain. Minister Galbur appreciated the constant and firm support stipulated by Britain to promote reforms in Moldova. In this context, the Moldovan official noted the significance of technical and financial assistance in the realization of concrete projects in areas such as fighting corruption, improving the business environment, justice reform, the banking sector, energy, strengthening public administration and expressed the hope that they would continue in the future.
