Average salary on economy to increase by 250 lei in Moldova in 2017

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/ - The average salary on the economy, forecast for 2017, will stand at 5,300 lei, - up by 250 lei against the present wage. The government today approved a draft decision on the quantum of the average salary on the economy.

The estimations were made according to a forecast of the macroeconomic indexes for 2017-2019. Provisions of the Economics Ministry show that, in 2017-2019, the average nominal salary on the economy will rise by 17.9 per cent and will reach 6,250 lei in 2019.

In 2016, the quantum of the average monthly salary on the economy was 5,050 lei, and in 2014 – 4,500 lei.

The forecast quantum of the average salary on the economy will be applied at limiting the annual calculation basis of the individual contribution of state social insurances to five average monthly salaries on the economy.
