Local polls' runoff to be held in southern Moldova village

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ - Local elections’ runoff to elect the mayor will take place in the Iserlia village, southern Basarabeasca district, on 13 November, the Central Electoral Commission said today.
According to the CEC press service, the voters will have to elect between two candidates who picked up the largest number of ballots in the first round of the polls. It is about Liudmila Rotari on behalf of the Our Party Political Party and an independent candidate, Maria Cvasnitcaia.
Under the Electoral Code, the runoff is held with the participation of the electoral bodies in the same composition and based on the same electoral lists.
