Fire from Chisinau-based warehouse localized

Chisinau, 12 November /MOLDPRES/ - The fire which on 11 November outbroke at a warehouse of plastic household appliances from the Ciocana district of Chisinau, was localized today at 13:35, the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service (SPCSE) has informed.
According to the SPCSE press officer, Diana Turcanu, presently, four teams of research firemen entered the building to extinguish the hotbeds from inside. “The rescuers undertake, at the same time, measures to find a woman who was reported missed today, after her relatives informed fire fighters that she had not been found since the outbreak of the fire on 11 November,” Turcanu said.
A large fire outbroke at a warehouse of inflammable household appliances from Chisinau on 11 November at about 10:00. The flames catches an area of more than 1,000 square metres and firemen fought for more than 28 hours to extinguish the fire.
Over 20 special vehicles, including five ladders, as well as 120 firemen and rescuers, were mobilized to extinguish the fire.
One fire fighter was killed and another six were hospitalized after having intoxicated with carbon dioxide. Also, another two persons were injured and are under supervision of physicians.
