Moldovan PM believes in democracy

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today voted at the polling station No 94 of Chisinau-based Buiucani district, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Filip congratulated Moldovans who after today will have a president elected by people. “I am here as I believe in Moldova’s chance and I believe very much in democracy,” he said.
At the same time, the premier voiced hope that the newly elected president would deny electoral rhetoric and would work together with the government for implementing the reforms.
In the context, Filip underlined that during this period, the cabinet had managed to get many results, including implementing roadmap agreed with European authorities, getting an agreement with the International Monetary Fund, as well as to advance in negotiations with the World Bank. “We have elaborated very important reforms and they must be carried out firstly in the interest of Moldovans,” he concluded.
