Moldovan electoral body decides ballots' reprint for two polling stations in Portugal

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ – The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) ordered reprinting of ballots for two polling stations in Portugal.
According to the CEC's mass media service, this requirement occurred the baggage for two out of those polling stations were qualified as lost by the air transporting company.
As such, for the polling stations nr. 1/382 in Lisabona city and nr. 1/385 in Setubal city in the Republic of Portugal were reprinted three thousand ballots each. Later on, CEC gave assurance commonly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of transporting those to polling stations, which opened at 07.00 a.m. locally, at 09.00 a.m. - in the Republic of Moldova.
At the same time, diplomatic luggage, declared lost baggage, containing electoral materials, will be returned without unsealing to Chisinau electoral council.
Today in Moldova is conducted the runoff of direct presidential elections. At the polling stations are awaited two million eight thousand hundred citizens.
