Moldovan electoral body processes 99.9 per cent of reports

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/- The Central Election Commission (CEC) has informed about the processing of 99.90 per cent of the reports.
According to CEC data, the candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Igor Dodon, picked up 52.29 per cent of the votes, and the contender of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Dignity and Truth Platform Party (PPDA) and Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Maia Sandu, got 47.71 per cent of the ballots.
At the same time, the Commission said that the voter turnout at the presidential polls was of 1,605 million citizens (more than 53 per cent of the residents with right to vote).
The CEC will unveil the preliminary results of the runoff at 10:00.
