Residents of Iserlia village elect mayor

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/- The Central Election Commission (CEC) today announced the preliminary results of the runoff on mayor election in Iserlia village, Basarabeasca district, held on 13 November 2016.

According to CEC data, 510 voters (55.14 per cent) participated in the polls. Of total number of votes, 331 (65.94 per cent) were for Liudmila Rotari, Our Party, and 171 (34.06 per cent) for Maria Cvasnitcaia, independent candidate. Thus, mayor-elect of Iserlia village, Basarabeasca district, was Liudmila Rotari.

The commission is to make public the final results of elections after the constituency council presents all original election documents.
