Germany to back financial project on managing water resources on Dniester river

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan today had a meeting with Deputy Head of German Embassy in Moldova Florian Seitz. The official of Germany was accompanied by the director of the Moldova-based Office of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the head of the Section of Cooperation and Economic Development at the Embassy, Ulrich Kleppman, the Bureau for Reintegration has reported.
The officials brought for discussion one of the biggest regional projects, Management of Water Resources on Dniester River. The project is to be implemented with the financial support of the German government, in order to develop the system of supply with drinking water, sewerage and residual waters’ purification at the Criuleni-Dubasari cluster.
In the context, the officials tackled technical and organizational aspects of the cooperation of the sides involved in carrying out the project.
