Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip confirms that Moldova will continue the European integration process regardless of visions of the future president of the Republic of Moldova. Government reaffirms once again the irreversibility of the European course, the prime minister said today at meeting of the cabinet of ministers.
"We had discussions with European officials to whom I said exactly the same, European course is irreversible. Even if you have very high expectations from candidates for President, let us not forget that we are a parliamentary republic and strategic decisions are approved by the Parliament and then obviously they are implemented by the Government. Government is ensuring implementation of these strategic decisions," the prime minister said.
"Hereafter, it follows with more dedication to implement the EU Association Agreement. Once we realized Roadmap, just after today government meeting, we will have the meeting of the governmental commission for European integration where we will talk about the plan of priority actions to be completed in November or December," said Prime Minister Pavel Filip. Chief of the Cabinet added that there are 82 actions within the plan. Practically, as many activities as there were in the Roadmap, "but we have to face a shorter period, therefore we must make every effort to achieve this action plan, which is very important."
