New local polls to be held in more Moldovan settlements next May

Chisinau, 22 November /MOLDPRES/ – There will take place local polls of mayors in four localities of Moldova on 14 May 2017, announced today the Central Election Commission (CEC).

These are: Tvardita town in Taraclia district, where the mayor’s mandate ended prematurely in connection with his death, Pervomaisc commune in Causeni district, Tipala commune and Ulm village in Ialoveni district.

There were held local mayors’ elections concurrently with the presidential poll in four other localities in Moldova on 30 October 2016.
