Meteorologists issue yellow code of fog all over Moldova

Chisinau, 24 November /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) today issued a yellow code of fog all over Moldova.

According to SHS, starting today (17:00) and till 25 November (12:00), fog is expected with a visibility of 200 metres and less. Meteorologists warn citizens to be cautious on Moldovan roads, as the visibility will be quite low.

At the same time, the National Patrol Inspectorate urge drivers to adapt the speed to the weather road conditions, use the vehicles’ lower beams and fog lights, in order to avoid manoeuvres of overtaking vehicles, if the visibility is low and increase the safety distance between the participants in the traffic.
