Moldovan foreign minister to participate in OSCE Ministerial Council in Hamburg

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minster, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Andrei Galbur will participate in the 23rd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council which will take place on 7 and 9 December 2016 in Hamburg, Germany. The Moldovan delegation that will attend the OSCE reunion in Hamburg, will also include the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Gheorghe Balan and Deputy Minister Lilian Darii, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication service has reported.
During the meeting in Hamburg a range of current issues on the OSCE agenda will be examined, with particular focus aimed at adapting the organization to the new conditions and increasing its role to tackle the challenges and threats to the security of states in the Euro-Atlantic area.
On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting in Hamburg, Minister Andrei Galbur will have a number of bilateral meetings with the OSCE leadership and the heads of delegations participating to this event, and will address issues related to our country's cooperation within this organization, as well as the development of relations between the Republic of Moldova and the respective countries.
