Moldovan government approves regulations on state register of local documents

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft of the Government Decision on State Register of Local Acts at its today meeting, which includes the Regulation on the way of keeping the State Register of Local Acts and the Regulation on the Record of documents under administrative legality control, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The document regulates the mechanism of registration, publication, preservation, recording and visualization of acts of local public authorities of the first and second levels on the informational platform of the State Register of Local Statements. It also establishes the procedure for the use and access of local and central public authorities, the institution of the representative of the Government on site and all interested persons.

Also, the draft decision provides for the phased integration of the electronic register by the local public authorities within 12 – 18 months from the date of entry into force of Law №161 from 07.07.2016.

The implementation of the electronic system will ensure the transparency of the decision-making process of the local public administration authorities and the activity of the territorial offices of the State Chancellery in the area of ​​administrative control of legality.
