Moldova to negotiate with Germany extension of joint managers’ training programme

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure will start negotiations with the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy on the extension of duration of the Moldovan-German programme for training and improvement of managers from companies in different sectors of the Moldovan economy, according to a decision approved today by the Government.
The programme started in 2009 and expires on 01 January 2018. There participated 271 managers in the programme from 2009 to December 2016. Over 60 per cent of participants established and developed various commercial-economic relations with German partners. The Government intends to negotiate its extension until 31 December 2020.
The final goal of signing the document is to prepare a new generation of managers who can make a significant contribution to modernizing the Moldovan economy and intensifying Moldovan-German relations.
The program is currently being carried out in 18 countries, including the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova, China, Vietnam, India, Egypt, etc.
