Moldovan deputy prime minister meets with Turkish ambassador

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan had a meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Moldova Hulusi Kiliç, today, the office for reintegration policies’ press service has reported.
The discussions focused on issues related to bilateral cooperation, attracting investments, current situation in the Transnistrian settlement process etc.
The interlocutors also referred to the realization of development projects, mentioning the interest for their strengthening on the component of promoting confidence building measures between the people of both banks of the Dniester. In this regard, the officials referred to the prospects for starting the project for rehabilitation of Bender city fortress and the reconstruction of the museum of history within it.
In this context, it was stressed the need to deepen the contacts between the relevant institutions of Moldova and Turkey in order to advance the cooperation in the fields of common interest.
