Moldovan premier asks authorities to ensure good conduct of events dedicated to holiday Limba Noastra

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – Prime Minister Pavel Filip spoke about the importance of holiday Limba Noastra (Our Language), at the beginning of meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers today, which is to be celebrated on 31 August 2017, all over Moldova throughout a large programme of events, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

"It is a day that leads to a period of national awakening of Moldova, following the Independence Day. The approval of the laws on the status of the state language and the transition to the Latin script remains a reason for national pride," said the Prime Minister, urging the citizens to participate in the events organized on that occasion.

Limba Noastra is a national holiday marked in the Republic of Moldova every year on 31 August.
