Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Government approved the Regulations for the functioning of new ministries in its meeting, which establish their mission, functions, fields of activity and rights, as well as the organization of the activity today. The provisions of the documents were drafted on the basis of the Government decision on the approval of the Regulation’s type-of-order on the organization and functioning of the ministry, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip mentioned that the step taken today would provide the framework for the new ministries and create necessary conditions for them to become more efficient and each official in the newly created structures would know clearly what to do during the eight hours work, including being better paid.
"It is not just a salary increase for civil officers working in central institutions, it is about saving the resources the Government has had so far. Based on these savings, we shall be able to offer higher salaries to those who remain in central state institutions," said Pavel Filip.
Similarly, the Prime Minister reiterated that the purpose of the reform has been to strengthen state institutions: "A state is strong when its institutions are strong. I said that not once – my dream and goal is for the Government to work the best professionals, the people who have the best abilities. Only in this way we can continue to stake on a strong, economically and socially developed country."
The Prime Minister also urged ministers to have the transfer of drivers and cars to the State Chancellery's Vehicle Base immediately, so that the institution, in turn, to ensure ministries’ smooth, uniform and fair functioning.
