State hydrometeorological service prolonged yellow code of hydrological drought in Moldova

Chisinau, 01 September /MOLDPRES/ – The State Hydrometeorological Service extended today the yellow code of hydrological drought by 10 September.
According to meteorologists, the hydrological drought is maintained in the rivers and lakes of Moldova in connection with autumn drought and lack of precipitation. Also, the meteorologists ask the economic agents and population to consume water resources in a rational mode.
The meteorologists announce that the yellow code of bonfire expires today, but temperatures will remain stagnant on weekends too. The weather will cool down substantially from Monday.
