Moldovan foreign minister addresses message on implementation anniversary of Association Agreement with EU

Chisinau, 01 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, has sent a message on the occasion of the three – year period of implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The message mentions:

"The signing of the Association Agreement and its implementation launch are some of the most important stages in the development of Moldova in the recent period.

It is a step that secured Moldova's firm anchoring in the modernization process, with a clear agenda of reforms based on the European model of well-being and prosperity.

After 3 years, observing the results and benefits of implementing this Agreement for the country, and especially for citizens, we are even more determined to continue on the same path, facing the challenges and impediments that inevitably occur alongside.

The value of the Agreement lies in its power of transformation, but also in the prospects it opens to us in the event of its realization in good faith, namely, the prospect of joining us within the EU."
