Moldova, Serbia to support mutually within international organisations

Chisinau, 03 September /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, met on 02 September 2017 with Prime Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, during a working visit to Belgrade.
According to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service, the interlocutors discussed current topics on the agenda of the bilateral relations, in particular, confirming the mutual interest in intensifying the political dialogue, stimulating the trade-economic exchanges and expanding the bilateral legal framework.
In an exchange of views on the actions taken by the authorities of Moldova and Serbia to deepen relations with the EU, it was emphasized the importance of continuing Moldovan-Serbian inter-ministerial political consultations on European integration. Ministers also agreed on the need for continued mutual support within international organizations.
The ministers also addressed other issues of mutual interest, such as the Transnistrian settlement process and the latest developments in international and regional security.
The both ministers held a press conference after the talks.
