Moldovan, Slovenian officials broach cooperation

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/- In the context of the 12th issue of the Bled Strategic Forum, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Karl Erjavec, the MAEIE’s information and media relations service has reported.

The ministers discussed the current stage of the Moldovan-Slovenian relations and opted for boosting and strengthening them.

Addressing the European integration issue, Karl Erjavec reiterated Slovenia’s support for reforms aimed at modernizing Moldova. Also, the officials approached preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2017.

For his part, Galbur thanked the Slovenian government for the development assistance programme in various fields, such as environmental protection, education and social services.
