EU to implement seven twinning projects worth seven million euros in Moldova

Chisinau, 04 September /MOLDPRES/ – From September 2017, the EU Delegation to Moldova will implement 7 new twinning projects, which are part of the Annual Action Plan Moldova – European Union 2013. The total value of the projects amounts to €6.85 million. Two other twining projects are under preparation, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

Moldova has benefited from 31 twinning projects so far. The EU assistance through Twinning projects contributes to the achievement of the objectives set out in the EU – Moldova Association Agreement by providing financial resources and institutional capacity-building interventions for key institutions in Moldova needed to meet the challenges of implementing the acquis communautaire in the AA/DCFTA.
