Moldovan deputy premier attends meeting of foreign ministers of SEECP

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today participated in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of member states of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) in Bled (Slovenia), MAEIE’s information and media relations service has reported.
The event was organized under the auspices of Slovenia. The meeting was held under the motto “SEE4FUTURE” and provided the host country the opportunity to present its program, priorities and activities due to be carried out during the mandate.
Galbur approached the importance of regional cooperation to support the European integration goal of the countries of the region, and fully exploit the opportunities of cooperation within SEECP for tangible results at regional level in line with the commitments.
The talks focused on the current political situation in the region, exchanged views on the main challenges and threats to security and stability at regional level. At the same time, the participants pointed out the need to consolidate regional connectivity, infrastructure and sectoral collaboration, as well as ensure SEECP’s orientation towards closer interaction in the future.
