Petrol, diesel fuel expensive again in Moldova

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/- The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) today set ceiling trading price for the most demanded Premium-95 petrol at 17.40 lei per one litre, compared to 16.95 lei before, and for diesel at 14.75 lei for 6-19 September.
The new prices for petrol will enter into force at midnight, when operators will have no right to sell fuels by retail at higher prices than the ones established by ANRE. The prices posted on ANRE’s webpage today will be valid for 14 calendar days.
Prices on international exchanges are kept for the second week at the same level. According to international media, on the morning of 5 September, London Brent crude oil prices fell by 0.23 per cent to 52.22 dollars for one barrel. Last week, Brent prices rose slightly by 0.6 per cent.
